Shrink discs

For externally clamping joints

Shrink discs are externally clamping, releasable shaft-hub joints. They are ideally suited for connecting a hollow shaft to a standard shaft, e.g. in crushing/grinding equipment, pumps, presses or die-cutters.

Features:

• Friction-locked shaft-hub joint
• External clamping effect due to surface pressure between the shaft and hub
• Backlash-free transmission of high torques
• Torque transmission up to 4,028,000 Nm
• Shaft diameters from Ø 9 to Ø 540 mm
